Based on the left line vault collapse in Guantong tunnel of Shitian highway as researchobject, combined with the collapse accidents in loess tunnel occurred in our country in thepast,By using geological radar detect the change of water content before and after the rain incollapse section of the mountain, and analysis of the reasons of the collapse in theory bycombined with the collapse mechanics mechanism analysis and numerical simulation analysismethod. Results show that:The increase of soil water content and the special physical andmechanical properties of loess tunnel is the key factor,At the same time the bias caused by theCD excavating method and human factors is also the important cause leading to the tunnelcollapse.According to these, puting forward the corresponding treatment methods.After thedisposal, through the monitoring measurement and numerical simulation analysis to evaluatethe governance effect of the collapse.Verified that the effectiveness of the the treatmentscheme.
