In the development and progress of human industrialization, the car provides mankindwith a great convenience, becoming a very important means of transports in everyday lives. The car as a means of transport in people’s daily lives, provides people with a travelconvenience; at the same time people begin to focus on the car ride comfort. So morepeople’s focus on vehicle performance indicators have transformed from the good fueleconomy and dynamic evolving to ride comfort of the car.The vehicle leaf spring is an important part in the car which is used to connect the wheelwith the elastic body. It also can pass the effect of all forces and moments between the wheeland the body, and can alleviate the impact load transmitted to the body from the uneven roadsurface to ensure the normal running of the vehicle. Automotive leaf spring is an elasticelement in the suspension. Because of the mature technology and simple structures, it makesaccess to a wide range of applications. In this papers, the vehicle leaf spring finite element analysis is done by ANSYSsimulation software. Based on ADAMS multi-body dynamics software, we establish amulti-body dynamics model of the major automobile assembly and use the multi-bodydynamics vehicle heavy truck model integration to ride through pulse input to do the vehiclemodel simulation.Using the ADAMS vehicle model build before, by adjusting the balance characteristicleaf spring suspension stiffness and conducting the simulation analysis of vehicle ride again,we can get the centroid data with acceleration values under different leaf spring stiffness.Combined with light quantify and carrying capacity demands, the optimized choice is madeto the heavy truck leaf spring design.
