First chapter introducts the development of high-end heavy truck, the suspensionsystem, the application of air spring and ride comfort.The second chapter simulatesair spring and ride comfort of high-end heavy truck based on theory study. The thirdchapter analyses the test date about the ride comfort of high-end heavy truck with airspring stiffness test and ride comfort test. The fourth chapter compares simulationanalysis with test. The fifth chapter summarizes the paper. It proposes applicationabout air spring in high-end heavy truck.According to our new product development plan, the second generation modelhas been already preliminary design. To enable the ride comfort of whole vehiclemeets international or national regulations, we use special software on the basis of theestablishment of finite element model, through the computer linear static simulationcalculation analysis, and establish finite element model of whole vehicle for dynamicsimulation analysis and data analysis. Refer to the ride comfort of vehicle, we dostiffness experiment separately about the steel springs and air spring to obtains thestiffness character.At the same time we do ride comfort experiment of leaf spring andair spring vehicle separately to build up heavy trucks ADMAS/Car virtual prototypingmodel.According to the performance testing of different elastic elements on thevehicle, we compare simulation with experimental to draw the improvementsuggestions. We can achieve design goal by the optimization of different elasticelements, the experimental data and the computer simulation result.In this paper, the design mechanism of the air spring is puted forward tostudy.The analysis and the design method are also confirmed. The ride comfort ofhigh-end heavy truck about air spring has been simulated. The thesis combines AnhuiHualing Automobile Co., LTD. With Hunan University with technical cooperation, ithas some engineering application and practical value. In this thesis, the high-endheavy truck,s configuration is:6X4tractor, wheelbase:3,150+1450, air spring,Cummins engine.
