With the progress of automotive technology and reduction of cost, the car is becomingmore and more popular, there are many people have their own cars, whether in the city, or inthe countryside, Cars have become very important means of transportation. As technologycontinues to advance, the requirements of the vehicle performance has becoming more andmore high. Comfortable driving and lower energy consumption is the common pursuit of ofcars in the future.Vehicle with automatic transmission has a comfortable driving, But has higher fuelconsumption and price than manual cars; In view of the contradiction between comfort andcost, this paper puts forward a new plan. The main research content of this paper includesthree aspects: the first one is based on the current technical level and developing trend, putforward a new transmission system scheme, and design the basic structure. Secondly, analyzethis new structure plan and the principle of this new transmission system to shows that howthe new structure realize the function of power split and continuously variable transmission.Thirdly, analyses the static characteristics and transmission characteristics of the newstructure, concluded that both the change curve between structure parameters and thesystem. The results show that the new transmission structure has the characteristics of thepower split and continuously variable transmission, can reduce the load of the infinitelyvariable speed mechanism. This Paper puts forward a new transmission system and design the basic structure, andstudies the properties of the new structure, provides a theoretical basis for furtherexperimental study and development of the new type transmission device.
