Research On Concept Construction And Cognition Of Urban Function Boby Based On Visceral Manifestation Theory

In recent years, the urbanization rate increase unceasingly and the urbanconstruction develop vigorously. Though many accomplishments have been achieved,urban space is developed unevenly, out of order, and miss features since the personnelengaged in work related to urban design are lack of overall view and system theory intheir view of thinking it. In order to reduce and prevent such problems happening, thispaper puts forward the concept of urban function body (UFB), based on which regionswhich are the motive forces of development are treated as “sources” of a UFB andanalyzed by reference to the overall view and system theory in visceral manifestationtheory, to make up the shortage of thinking mode in western medicine, namely “takingstopgap measure”.To explore the concept of construction of UFB, urban space areas which takedynamic roles are mainly researched with visceral manifestation theory as thebreakthrough point. The relationship of internal structures, classification, characteristicsand identification are analyzed for UFB, further the method of shaping space features isproposed.The paper mainly researches the urban area where is affected by the dynamicmechanism of most major urban space object, starts the point of theoretical model inVisceral Manifestation Theory, explore the establishment of the concept of the urbanfunction body and analyze the relationship between internal structure, classification,characteristics, distinguish, based on them, proposes the ways of shaping characteristicsof urban space using the urban function body.First, the paper obtains urban areas where it is the presence of urban functions bythe way of case study. It consitituts the urban functions, urban physical environment andhuman activities. Furtherly, after refining, translating the principles of VisceralManifestation Theory, analyze the urban inner constitution of the urban function bodyby using the above principles, and construct the concept of the urban function bodycombining knowledge of urban design. On this basis, the next is the research of theurban function body. First of all, in the classification, based on the maturity of thestandard urban development，It includes the updating model and the new constructionurban function body; and based on the dominant function of the urban function bodyfunctional, It includes single function and various functions. From the feature point ofview, I have presented the same and different characteristics by the way of contrastingbetween the updating model and the new model of urban function bodies. From theperspective of the identified conditions, I have made the four conditions of economyand function, cultural elements, the physical environment of urban, the use of human activity.Based on Visceral Manifestation Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine indiscoursing multiple decency, have analyzed the various of the urban function bodies ofthe relationship and made the principal means of shaping urban spacecharacteristics:from the perspective of urban spatial structure, establishing urban spaceframe of the function bodies,the bodies and the markers by the connection of the urbancorridor system; From the perspective of urban form in the overall layout,to control theeconomic balanced development in the urban space,urban function bodies,as thedominant feature of the area must uniformly distribute in the city and making largedifference in the physical environment due to the different dominant function in thedifferent urban areas. From the perspective of city function body in the differentarchitecture groups, architecture groups shape physical characteristics of urbanenvironment by the way of different architectural styles, volume, color, texture andarchitectural form different combinations.
