Solving the energy problem is an urgent need, once these problems will be able to solve by Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) which has great potential in research. The shock-ignition is proposed to obtain a high energy pulse which energy above the level of KJ,and a single pulse which peak power up to tens terawatt. Compare to the other pulse compression technologies, the pulse compression technology based on the Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) not only can get higher compression rate, but also can get higher energy conversion efficiency.After theoretical and experimental aspects are discussed in this paper, get a regular cognition by analyzing the Stokes pulse compression, SBS energy reflectivity and Stokes pulse compression waveforms stability from the impact of the pump pulse compression parameters, structural parameters and SBS medium parameters. Ultimately their key medium parameters can be drawn which will affect SBS hundred picosecond pulse compression.Finally get the key factor in results of SBS hundred picosecond pulse compressed of the media influence, provide a reference for the future in terms of pulse compression,to select better media and related research.First, consider the retention time of the acoustic field on the second order derivative terms, by the combination of semi-classical Maxwell equations and Navier-Stokes equations, a one-dimensional transient pulse compression model was established.
