In the modern high-speed development the automotive industry, the automobilehas become one of the main transports for people to travel, but the number ofcasualties due to traffic accidents is also very huge. Car as a symbol of humancivilization, revolutionized the historical process of human development, bring aboutthe positive effects of comfort and convenience to humans as well as some negativeeffects on human life, and caused a lot of life and damage to property. When accidenthappens, if the driver is unconscious and no vehicles or pedestrians go through, thedriver cannot get timely treatment. Although there are many applications used toprevent car accident but most of them is facilitated on the car and very expensive. Sousing mobile phones to achieve real-time monitoring of acceleration for implementingautomatic alarm still has much more market prospect.Due to the above, the crash alert and positioning system developed with androidacceleration sensor. This essay fully studied the acceleration sensor and GPS (GlobalPosition System) navigation system and GSM (Global System for MobileCommunication) wireless communication technology work principle. Start fromrelationship between the collision velocity and time to determine the possibility of theaccident. According to the project background and significance, this systemimplemented the real-time determination of acceleration, the real-time display of thelatitude and longitude using LocationManager and achieved the purpose of sendinformation automatically in30s using timer of Java Me, which assistant to rescue intraffic accidents.The system can be used independently on the phone, easily to uninstall and install,lower costs, and send alarm SMS automatically with comprehensive and accurateinformation, reduce false reports and improve rescue efficiency, make up the vacancyof a mobile terminal in a car accident alarm, which is the primary advantage of thesystem. Finally, this essay points out the problem need to be solved.
