In order to better meet the power company for the new substation life cyclemanagement demand, it is necessary to change design methods from traditionaltwo-dimensional design to three-dimensional collaborative design. This thesis appliesBIM technology, by means of the three-dimensional digital design platform to solvethe problem of the traditional two-dimensional design that only depends on spatialimagination and basic drawing skills of engineers to complete the limitations of spacedesign. It is highlighted of the indoor substation of the economical and reasonable indetailed layout, after the use of three-dimensional digital platform for substationdesign.First of all, we select Revit three-dimensional cooperative design platform to fitthe demand of electric design institute by the comparison of three-dimensionalsubstation digital collaborative design in terms of the implementation. It can realizethat the draw the same drawing of the engineers with architecture, structure andequipment special subject in the collaborative design platform. It can also realize thatmaking out real-time view of design results, detecting the design conflict problem inthe construction process, avoiding the collision of unnecessary cost. It will ensureeffective communication engineers and improve the efficiency of design work in thecollaborative design platform combine with professional information. Secondly, thisarticle introduces the substation three-dimensional collaborative designimplementation scheme, including same professional cooperative, differentprofessional cooperative, database cooperative and three-dimensional tool withaiming at substation. Through the implementation of three-dimensional collaborativedesign platform, in addition to better meet the power company substation life cyclemanagement demands, but also realized the digital transfer of projectthree-dimensional data model.Finally, in order to the Haihe River of220kV substation project as an example,introduces the application of three-dimensional digital design. It shows that a detailed comparison of the three-dimensional design and traditional design by using Revitthree-dimensional cooperative design platform. It solved the problem of collisionbetween the traditional two-dimensional substation design such as the lack of directvisual effect and quantitative model based, the professional software integration andthe problem of inferior performance, stagnation and repeated problems. It greatlyimproved the efficiency and quality of design work.
