For the study of expressway maintenance, the United States began fifty or sixtyyears. Highway maintenance technology development to today, main researchdirection of foreign is preventive maintenance of highway. But our country highwaymaintenance, but also in the80’s the United States of America filed widely researchbegan to preventive maintenance. Can be said that the maintenance of Expressway inour country started the theory contains the preventive maintenance concept.Nowadays, our country highway maintenance by "giving priority to prevention,combining prevention with control" principle, adhere to the "mechanized maintenance,to prevent the interruption of traffic " principle. Now, our country in the newtechnology of highway maintenance, has been generally adopted asphalt recyclingtechnology, the micro-surfacing technology, flexible base technology, the fog sealingand hot in-place recycling technology, which is developed in the developed countriesin the process of highway maintenance. But in an overview of these techniques,ignoring the energy conservation and emission reduction, or there is no detailedexplanation of these technologies in the application of energy-saving emissionreduction work. For the maintenance of expressway, the expressway maintenanceintegrated technology, the application of energy-saving emission reduction work, isalso very important. Although realized the importance of this issue, but in the specificnew technology using a conservation in energy conservation and emission reductioneffects of what, how much higher than previous techniques, for these are the veryimportant content, some articles just language description, from the perspective of thenew highway maintenance the technical aspects of what energy-saving emissionreduction, and there is no specific data analysis.This subject is mainly the concrete state of application of new technology ofexpressway maintenance research in energy-saving emission reduction work, mainlyto solve the highway maintenance technology in the actual use of the specificmanifestation of what and how it is applied in energy saving and emission reduction.The research content includes “on the regeneration technology of asphalt, themicro-surfacing technology, flexible base technology, the fog sealing and hot in-placerecycling technology are described” and “were carried out a detailed analysis of theapplication of the technology in the energy-saving emission reduction work”. China from the " eleven five " plan, put forward the energy-saving emissionreduction targets," people’s Republic of China energy conservation law " also pointedout that the " conservation of resources is China’s basic national policy. Nationalimplementation of conservation and development simultaneously, the top priority toconservation of energy development strategy." China’s rapid economic growth, theconstruction has made great achievements, but also paid a great resource and the costof environmental destruction, in our country the past Highway Maintenance Squadronhas caused serious environmental damage and cause a lot of fuel, waste of resources,so that only the full use of new technologies, to achieve energy-saving emissionreduction work target. At the same time, this paper summarizes the application of newtechnology in highway maintenance in the energy-saving emission reduction work,also can make up for the blank of the energy-saving emission reduction work.This paper is to review the new technology of expressway maintenance throughthe literature method, then carries on the contrast analysis, to analyze the applicationof the technology in energy-saving and emission reduction from the cost analysisbenefit–angle.
