Nowadays, the large-scale utilization of renewable energy power generation isbecoming the trend of power system’s development all over the world. Making full use ofrenewable energy resources can alleviate the shortage of energy, curb environmentalpollution and improve people’s living standards. However, the primary resources of newenergy are uncontrolled, and the output power is unstable. Thus, it is necessary to study itsinfluence to the operation of power grid when the permeability of renewable energy powergeneration is very high. This paper mainly studied the content about the reliability ofpower system.Firstly, the model of reliability about renewable energy power generation isestablished. And the prediction model of time-varying data is put forward based onSupport Vector Machine (SVM). This model helps to obtain the electricity transformationparameters of renewable energy resources. The models of output power about wind farmand photovoltaic power station can be used to calculate the data of output power in realtime. In addition, the outage-model of components in power system is introduced forreliability analysis.Secondly, the mixed sampling method is established based on analytical method andMonte Carlo simulation method. The results of simulation can prove that this methodcould greatly reduce the time of reliability assessment and improve the efficiency ofreliability assessment.Thirdly, the system statuses are analyzed after sampling. The adjacency matrix inGraph Theory is used to judge the structure of power system. And it helps to determine thestructure of power system after failure. Then the impact factor of renewable energy powergeneration is established based on power flow tracing algorithm. The climbing rate ofgenerator and utilization of new energy is considered, and the cut-load model wasimproved according to the above content. The effectiveness of the proposed model isvalidated by computer simulation. This model is more useful than others, and it canoptimize the results of cutting load under the background of the research. Finally, the index system of reliability evaluation is established, and the process toassessment is determined. The object of simulation is a large-area grid, in which thedifferent positions to connect the renewable energy power of different types or differentcapacity. The simulation results of different cases are analyzed, and some conclusions aresummed up about the measures on improving system reliability, identifying the locationand volume of renewable energy power and enhancing the weak links of power system.
