Reciprocating compressor is extensively usedinmanyindustrialfieldssuchaspetroleum,ironandsteel, chemical,owingtoitsownadvantagesofhighefficiency, widepressure range and well-adapted.However, periodical intake and discharge inreciprocating compressor lead to air fluctuation in the pipe. The air pulsation can have ahuge pressure impact on the pipe, leading to thevibration of the pipe. And the strongvibration will give rise to the danger to the stable and safe production. So the researchon reciprocating compressor has an important significance both in theory and practice.Aiming at the problem of strong vibration in pipeline of one natural gaspressurization station, the reason of the vibration and the corresponding vibrationreduction measures are studied in this paper. First, the nature frequency of one piece ofpipeline is solved using both the transfer matrix derived from the theory of plane waveand finite element method to prove the reliability of the nature frequency of the aircolumn solved by finite element method. Then the finite element method is used tosolve the nature frequency of the air column and the piping system structure, comparingit with the excitation frequency to show that the vibration in pipeline of one natural gaspressurization station is caused by resonance and pressure fluctuation.In order to measure the pressure fluctuation values of the monitoring point inpipeline of one natural gas pressurization station, a pressure fluctuation analyzer isdeveloped by LabVIEW. The pressure fluctuation values of each monitoring pointcanbe measured and comparedwith API618. By collecting and analyzing the data, theunqualified point of pressure dissatisfaction in pipeline of one natural gas pressurizationstation is found.According to the common vibration reducemeasures, combined with the actualsituation of pressurization station;the corresponding measures of vibration reduction areput forward. The improved pipeline indicates that the measures adopted decrease thevibration of the pipeline effectively, and the pressure fluctuation values of themonitoring point have reduced.
