For the Frame-Core Wall Structure, beacause of the stiffness of core tube is a lotlarger than frame, frame bears a little of the horizontal forceduring the designprocess.But due to the small elastic deformation limit of the core tube,the distribution oflateral force changes between frame and core tube when the design earthquake or rareearthquake happens,then the force beared by frame will rise.So the 《Technicalspecification for concrete structures of tall building》(JGJ3-2010) and the《Specificationfor design of steel-concrete mixed structure of tall buildings》(CECS230:2008)bothprovide the adjustment methods of frame force for the Frame-Core Wall Structure.Thereis a lot of research about Frame-Core Structure,but no research was found aboutcomparative analysis of different shear distribution mentioned above.So models areestablished to analysis the difference between twoshear distributions.Accordingly models are established based on different design earthquake(includingSteelreinforced concrete frame-corewall building structure andsteel frame-reinforcedconcrete core wall structure), then adjustments was taken to the models based onJGJ3-2010and CECS230:2008.Dynamic time-history analyses and pushover analysesis carried out on the models to analyse the seismic performance underdesign earthquakeor rare earthquake;failure modes of models is also analysed.Then the paper analysis thedifference between two shear distributions.The main conclusions are achieved as follows:①The adjustment coefficient of Frame based on CECS230:2008is about1.0onthe upper floors which is smaller than that based on JGJ3-2010.The adjustmentcoefficient of Frame on the lower floors based on CECS230:2008is large, but alsosmaller than that based on JGJ3-2010.The method based on CECS230:2008need torevise the axial force of frame,so the axial force and size of frame column on the lowerfloors increases especially buildings inhighseismic fortification intensity site.②The ability of frame to resist the horizontal forceunderdesign earthquake or rareearthquake can be ensured by the two different distributions.Structures using the twodifferent distributions can have reasonable failure models and the frame could be thesecond line of defense.The seismic performance of structures based on the two differentdistributions comes close under design earthquake or rare earthquake.
