Study On The Grid Fin Applied To The Tactical Missiles

It was indicated that the particular structural and aerodynamic characteristics wereobviously better than the flat in certain condition in this study. With the theoretical andexperimental study on the grid fin developed, great attention was paid to theapplications of grid fin on the tactical missiles. The latest development of the researchesand applications of grid fin in the world was analyzed and the capabilities of differenttypes of grid fins were compared. Besides, the feasibility of application of grid fin onthe tactical missile was studied combining with examples. This study was very valuablein the engineering application on the guidance for the design of aerodynamic layoutselection of the tactical missile, parameters design of grid fin and its structurerealization, and the computation and evaluation of the primary aerodynamic property ofthe tactical missile.
