The modern electric power system has become a special system that contains theattribute of large capacity, super high voltage, wide area, and complex structure. As theelectric power system becomes larger and larger, more and more factors need to beconsidered, which resulted in a huge amount of equations in calculation. The parallelpower flow calculation is becoming an important method to enhance the speed oftime-consuming multiple data power flow operation. And there exists low-cost andhigh-efficiency solution if the parallel platform is constructed on a cluster of PCs.This thesis first introduces the basic theory of parallel computing, the fundamentals ofparallel computers and parallel algorithms. Them the MPI (Message Passing Interface) forPC is introduced, and an experimental setup based on Windows XP and PC cluster is built.The MPI programming on PC cluster is discussed and a power flow calculationprogram is implemented. Two test system, IEEE39、 IEEE118and IEEE300bus systemsare used to testify the program and to measure the performance. The parallel efficiency is44.3%、55.65%and81.65%.In this paper we judge the static stability analysis of power system. And design theserial program and parallel program for the method of QR to solve matrix value, this papergive the150th order、300th order、500th order、800th order matrix’s value,And achieve good speedup and efficiency. the every parallel efficiency is66.64%、72.54%、74.19%、82.82%. |
