Research team designed a new type of energy storage heat pump system, itcombined the advantages of solar energy heat pump and air source heat pump andenergy storage technology, it could achieve many kinds of operating modes. It runsstore cold in summer by using the off-peak electric power to realize load shifting; itraises the temperature of the microtherm heat source through the solar hot water toimprove the energy efficiency of the system in winter.The characteristics of spiral tube contains high heat transfer efficiency,authigenic centrifugal force field and the second flow, we adopted paraffin RT6asphase change material, used the copper pipe to design a spiral tube type of energystorage heat exchanger into the composite heat pump system, conducted differentrunning modes: cold storage in summer, cold supply mode, the conventional airsource heat pump heating mode, heat storage mode in winter; heating mode usingheat storage, heat storage and heat release mode. In the experimental process, wefocused on the changes of system pressure, internal energy, energy efficiency ratioand paraffin wax’s temperature, made the corresponding curves plotted, analysed thechange rule and the factor of each process.By comparing the amount of cold storage capacity and cold release capacity,verified the feasibility of putting the spiral type energy storage heat exchanger intostorage experiments; through comparing the COP of two heating modes during thesystem experiment, drew that the improvement degree of the heating system’s COP;under the same experimental conditions, compared the performance of spiral tubeheat exchanger and serpentine tube heat transfer, we could take that the spiral issuperior to the serpentine.The results of experiments proved that putting the spiral type energy storage intothe composite heat pump system, it is feasible in theory and practice.
