Due to the unique topography in the qinghai-tibet plateau regions, airports were built in themountain valley or near the river where the wind field changes complicatedly and diversified. Windyday accounted for larger proportion in these regions, and local microclimate together with large-scalewind field environment changes complicatedly, affecting the helicopter flight safety momentously. Therefore establishing the wind field model for plateau mountainous environment is critical for theflying simulation of helicopters in plateau environment. The flying simulation background for helicopters in this thesis is based on the special plateauclimatic environment of Tibetan Nyingchi Airport and the surrounding area. By collecting andanalyzing the existing plateau climatic environmental data and modeling the3—demensionalgeometric space of given region,we simulated the basic wind field overall arrangements of the givenregion through computational fluid dynamics. The wind field model of four basic directions, i.e.,north, south, east and west, has been obtained, and the results were normalized, gainning large datafiles of the basic wind field model; The basic model data files were refined and divided into wind fieldfragment files in accordance with the geographic location; Rapid spatial interpolation algorithm anddata forecasting load optimization algorithm were developed, making it capable to obtain the windfield information in the helicopter hub center, realizing the real-time representation of plateau windfield data, providing a relatively reliable wind field data for flight simulation of helicopters in plateauenvironment.
