Piezoelectric stack have the distinguishing features of high control precision and fast response,which make them wide application prospect in the field of driving field. As capacitive load,Piezoelectric stack has special requirements for the driving waveform, so the new type of drivingpower is urgently needed. The main work of this report is consists of is high controllability drivecircuits design of new type piezoelectric linear motor based on piezoelectric stack actuator, and acomprehensive experimental study for the motors and actuator was carried out. The maincontributions of this work were summarized as follows:Analysis of several drive power were made, and design points of the drive power was proposed.To drive the piezoelectric stack drive mechanism in the bands above2kHz drive, a switch-modedrive power based on microcontroller PSoC3was designed. According to the motor characteristics,fly-back DC power was designed. the phase-locked loop signal source was replaced by the PWMmodule in PSoC3,with the stability of the control signal improved. Analysis of the relationshipbetween the quality factor and selectivity was made, and the matching inductor was designed, withresonant drive realized. Simulation and experimental of the circuit was carried out.According to requirements of the drive waveform, drive power based on microcontroller PSoC3was designed. Multi-channel arbitrary waveform signal generator based on the memory functiontransformation technology was designed. A programmable amplifier circuit was designed, and theoutput voltage can be controlled conveniently. The linear power amplifier circuit was optimized withits output frequency range enhanced from1to2kHz.Comprehensive experimental study of the newly developed three piezoelectric stack drivingmechanisms was carried out, and the usefulness of the motor was verified.
