Long fiber reinforced composite materials has become the important candidate material for thecold part of the high-performance aircraft engine because of its has many merits such as highstrength-to-weight, high stiffness-to-weight, good ability to resist corrosion and good designablecharacteristic. The connection structure between composite fan casing and blades is the weak link,which will directly affect the performance of the static substructure. So design the reasonablestructure of connection as well as establish a suitable strength analysis method have the importantengineering significance.Aiming at to design connection structure between laminated composite fan casing and blades, atthe same time, to establish a suitable strength analysis method, this paper has carried out the followingseveral aspects of research work:(1) Using the method of progressive failure, to establish the cumulative damage analysis methodgradually which is suitable for notched composite laminated. Based on ANSYS software platform wasestablished a gradually accumulated damage analysis process, which is suitable for the laminatedcomposite structures, and write the related program.(2) According to various failure modes of composite laminated structure, and various failurecriteria for the main occasions, at the same time, thinking about the stress form of the connectionstructure between laminated composite fan casing and blades, synthetic Maximum stress criteria andHashin three-dimensional failure criterion, this paper puts forward a new failure criterion–mixedfailure criterion..(3) Using this method to predict the static strength of T300/BMP316and T300/KH-304notchedcomposite laminated, respectively, and compared with test results, verified the rationality of thegradually accumulated damage analysis method. At the same time, compared with the influence suchas the failure beginning, failure types, failure law and the ultimate failure load from the failurecriteria.(4)Designed two connection structures which is consisted by fan casing and blades: Boltconnection structure and T slot connection structure, then parametric the models. Using this method tocarried out the finite element simulation analysis on the connection structures, then compared with thefailure types, failure law and the ultimate failure load from the two connection structures.(5) In view of the prone to injury and the final failure position of the connection structure, this article studied the influence law of connection structure from the layer style and the size of the finalfailure position.
