Piping system is one of the important parts of aero-engine, it connects to all parts of the engine as awhole. Vibration characteristics of the piping system has a very important influence on the overalldynamics of the engine. But piping system is one of the most complex structure and as an accessorystructure on the aero-engine few people research its dynamic characteristics. Therefore, in this paperresearched finite element modeling, correlation analysis, model updating and validation for the pipingsystem of an aero-engine. Modal tests for the piping system based on advanced3D laser scanningtechnology. This approach improved test accuracy and reliability of data.In the connection with engine and piping increased rubber wire structure can reduce vibrationenergy transmitted to the piping components, so appeared uncertainty and nonlinear of the joints. Inthis paper researched the influence of different tightening torque for the dynamic characteristics of thepiping by modal tests for piping with clamps based on laser scanning technology. More studied theeffect of different flow rates and tightening torque on the piping dynamics. Finally, analysis Straightpiping equivalent connection stiffness under different tightening torque, got equivalent connectedstiffness’s nonlinear changes.
