With super/UHV transmission lines as the backbone of the national interconnected power gridand gradually built, challenges facing the safe operation of the transmission line is also increasing:extreme natural disasters, invasive plants and animals, the grid accidents and other non-traditionalhuman factors external damage caused have occurred. With the rapid development of micro and smallUAV-related technologies will be applied to the transmission line patrol UAV to replace manualinspection is becoming a reality.Transmission line inspection requires the use of UAV drones for air patrol to monitor real-timedata and status, but also for the UAV ground personnel required for remote control via groundequipment, transmission line transmission line environment for reconstruction, for UAV pathtransmission line inspection were planning. This article focuses on the intersection of technology andmulti-rotor UAV inspection of power system studies, conducted a series of studies focused on:First, under the Qt build environment, operating points of interest on the transmission linemodeling problems in Google Earth model analysis carried out, to build a high-voltage transmissionline inspection simulation environment for UAV ground station for power line patrol operationsenvironment to reproduce. Using the established UAVground station and four rotor UAV for high voltage transmission lines were field-proven. Engineeringsimulation analysis to verify the usefulness of surveillance UAV ground station transmission line.
