Nowadays, aviation composite material, for its many excellent properties, such as high strengthand stiffness, strong corrosion and fatigue resistance, good integral modeling process, etc., hasreceived more and more application in modern aviations. Compared with foreign advanced level, themanufacturing technology of aviation composite materials (ACM) in our country falls behind withlow growth percentage of use, which leads to restriction in development of China’s aviationmanufacturing industry. Therefore, we must do research on management technology aboutmanufacturing process of aviation composite material and deeply investigate its modeling and optimalscheduling method so as to master production rules and shorten the production cycle.In this paper, firstly, according to analysis on the process of ‘hand lay-up molding andhot-pressing consolidation’ in our country’s aviation enterprises, a view is presented that the process isa typical re-entrant production system under the dual constraints of time and capacity. Then, theproduction operation of this re-entrant production system is divided into three stages and twoscheduling evaluation indexes are put forward. Secondly, the modeling method of extended timedcolored Petri net (ETCPN) is presented and a new style of mark is defined. Then, the ETCPN modelfor re-entrant manufacturing stage of ACM based on a single equipment is built and somecharacteristic analysis on this ETCPN model is done based on an example. Thirdly, we propose ascheduling object, for which an integrated scheduling method of A*algorithm based on the ETCPNmodel and genetic algorithm(ISMATG)is presented and detailed described.Finally, based on the software environment of MATLAB, combined with SQL Server, thescheduling method which integrates A*algorithm based on the ETCPN model and genetic algorithm(ISMATG) is realized. The example proves that the scheduling method, which can optimize thecompletion time with the consideration of dual constraints from time and capacity, is widely practicaland pretty good.
