Research On Modeling And Simulation For Flight Control System Of Large Civil Aircraft

As a key technology of aircraft and flight simulator, flight control system plays a critical role in thewhole development process of aircraft and flight simulator. Taking a large civil aircraft as the researchobject, the longitudinal control and lateral control model are developed firstly, and the auto-throttle andthe automatic trim system are also analyzed. Based on the aerodynamics and the kinematics of the aircraft,the relationships among the control column force, the control surface deflection angle, the flight statusand the structure parameters of the control system are investigated; the artificial control system model areestablished considering the effects of the loading forces and the control surface deflection angle. Throughanalyzing the entire process of how to actuate the control surface deflecting using the mode control paneland automatic control law，the automatic flight control system model is derived.Then, the corresponding simulation models are established in the MATLAB/SIMULINK softwareusing standard C language and SIMULINK modules. The developed simulation model has thecharacteristics of high fidelity, and can be applied to the multiple flight and simulation environments.At last, the proposed flight control system model are verified using the typical control law, and thevalidation analysis of the takeoff, landing and other flight process are also carried out. The simulationresults show that the proposed model has obtained the good effects and achieved the desired technicalrequirements, which further validate the correctness and accuracy of the established flight control model.
