In the1980s, American engineers Geiger Proposed a flexible large-span space structuresystem available in a project on the basis of the tensegrity structure, This structure is Cabledome structure. Cable dome structure is a new form of structure.Its characteristics areingenious, light, economic, beautiful and so on. These advantages promote its rapiddevelopment. Many countries are trying to have a lot of researches on Cable domestructure.Mainly in the structure, construction technology research, morphological analysisand static calculations.Particularly morphological analysis and static calculation are the hotissues.This paper focuses on the research on morphological analysis and static calculation ofCable dome structure.This thesis analyzes the nonlinear problem briefly and introduces force density method,Newton iterative method and energy principle. The paper use two methods to derivecable-strut deformed precise balance equation and Jacobian matrix.The thesis applies the basic principle of force density method and uses the basicprinciples of Newton iteration,Pretreatment methods of structural mechanics,Variablebandwidth storage technology and uses Fortran95language to program. Use this program toanalyze and calculate the morphology of cable dome and static force.The thesis Solves the final form of two types of cable dome given initial Prestress andinitial form of the cable dome And studies the problem of the internal forces of cable-strutiteration. Then analyze the static properties of two types of cable dome structure. Mainlystudy the morphological changes and internal forces of cable dome under external loads,Solve terminative loads of cable dome and the changes of each cable-strut internal force Withthe external load increase. If the external loads are determined, The thesis uses the program tosolve the lowest level prestress on the basis of the basic principles of Newton iteration. Thenthe paper compares two methods of static performance analysis of cable dome and uses theprogram to analyze the effects of cross-sectional area and the initial prestress of the structure.Finally, this thesis uses the program to analyze the impact of cross-sectional area and theinitial prestress. Then obtains some useful conclusions and gives some suggestions onselection of cable dome and Construction.
