With the rapid development of freeway network in China, the traffic safety of freewayhas aroused general concern. Due to the geological conditions、road alignment restrictions,coupled with the impact of adverse climatic factors, security issues are also increasinglyprominent in mountain freeway. The paper data on the basis of the wide high-speed Taigansection1853accidents, carried out research work on the analysis of the multiple pointidentification and origin of Mountainous freeway accident.Firstly, the paper analyzes the adverse effects of climate and other factors on themountainous freeway safety accidents, mainly in order to reduce the adverse weatherconditions for road skid resistance and the visibility of the influence of the two aspects to thetraffic accident causes were analyzed and summarized, gives the improvement measures.On the basis of comparison with the analysis of the traditional screening method oftraffic accident prone location, construction of the analysis method of change point isconstructed based on the least square method, using4kinds of traditional identificationmethods and change point analysis for the screening analysis of Taigan speed of trafficaccidents, distinguishing the wide high-speed Taigan research section K2951-K3045sectionof the accidents, the cluster is10accident investigation group. According to the calculationresults, the change point analysis method and the traditional screening methods are compared,revealed the advantage of the change point analysis method.This paper analyzes the mechanism of adverse weather conditions, the snow、rain、fogimpact on road safety, and proposes the corresponding to the foggy environment ofexpressway management and early warning system, and the safety facilities. And brieflydiscusses the present situation of mountainous high speed road safety audit development.Results of this study can provide a technical reference for the design and operationmanagement of freeway in mountainous area,and also have the reference function on thesecurity of other types of highway in plain area.
