Energy shortages, environmental pollution, climate warming is a common challengesthat the global automobile industry faced, and the energy conservation and emissionsreduction technology of traditional fuel vehicle can not satisfy the social sustainabledevelopment demand.It is the best solution to develop the blade electric vehicle(here afterreferred to as a BEV) without fuel consumed completely.But BEV also had shortcomingssuch as insufficient driving distance, short battery life and imperfect supporting facilities atthis stage.So hybrid car will be a new energy vehicle type,which is the most suitable for thecurrent actual situation, and solve the high fuel consumption and pollution problem oftraditional vehicle very well, also there is no insufficient driving distance of BEV.In this article, Sun win bus SWB6115HP9-3as a prototype vehicle, refitting to be adouble-axis parallel hybrid electric bus as the research object, using MATLAB/Simulink andCruise these two software to make analog simulation.This article introduce the developing situation, principle and the structure arrangement ofthe hybrid electric bus.According to dynamic index setting to select model and parametersetting for main components of power train system.Using MATLAB/Simulink to establish thecontrol strategy model of whole vehicle, and using the Cruise software to establish wholevehicle model of hybrid buses and prototype vehicle, the operating mode select UDC jointsimulation.According to the changes of SOC’ s different original value correspond the engineworking point location and the changes of SOC’ s value in operation to setting the originalvalue of SOC,do the simulated analysis in the vehicle model environment established byCruise, and compare with the simulation result of traditional vehicle, provide the basis for thefurther improvement and optimization of strategy model.The simulation results can be seen that the control strategy of hybrid buses converted inthis article while that the vehicle power performance decreased, but clearly it satisfy therequirement of dynamic design, and can reduce the vehicle’s fuel consumption and improvefuel economy effectively, to achieve the desired purpose.
