In recent years, with the development of automation control technology, the robots arewidely used in military, aerospace, marine exploration, medical and other fields, which hasbeen the research focus all over the world. As the actuator of the robot drive system, brushlessdc motor has been widely used in the robot servo control driver because of its excellent speedregulating performance. Therefore, it has great theoretical significance and practical value forus devoting ourselves to the study of BLDC motor control system.Considering the performance requirement of the servo control system, this paper studiesthe Fuzzy-PI control system of brushless dc motor, which adopts the TMS320F2812chip asthe control core and the brushless dc motor as the control object.Firstly, this paper elaborates the research background and significance of this topic, andit introduces the development history and research status of brushless dc motor, and the basicstructure, basic running principle, speed method of brushless dc motor is also studied.Secondly, based on the analysis of the traditional PID control and the fuzzy control, thefuzzy PI speed control system is designed by combining the traditional PI control and thefuzzy control. Meanwhile, the mathematical model of three-phase brushless dc motor withDelta-connection was deduced in detail. The simulation model of the Fuzzy-PI control systemis established with the MATLAB/Simulink software and the simulation is carried out. Theresults of the simulation show that the dynamic response of the Fuzzy-PI control system isfast, the overshoot of it is small and it can resist external interference effectively.Finally, according to the requirements of the control system, the controller hardwareplatform of brushless dc motor was constructed, and the software is also designed. Dependingon the functions of each module of the hardware circuit, the hardware platform contains thedriving circuit, the control circuit, the inverter circuit, the sampling circuits and the systemprotection circuits. The software is modular programming, the main program and the interruptservice program which are written in C language are the two important parts of the software.The experimental results show that the control system experimental platform is designedreasonably, and it has reliable performance and good practical value.
