In the process of product design, there are all kinds of product design schemes. So theseproduct design schemes for solving product problems are needed to be compared and assessed,thereby we determine the value of each design scheme in order to select the best designsolution. Product design scheme evaluation is the effective way to ensure the quality of theproduct design and to improve the design efficiency. The body of the product designevaluation should include all types of people associated with the product, the product design,manufacturing, sales, use groups and the staffs of corporate executives departments. In thispaper, we researched various groups’ evaluation information investigation system based onnetwork, as well as the big data evaluation information processing methods and technology,so the designers’ design plan can timely, conveniently interact with the evaluator is the mainpurpose of this research.First, this paper divided the product design evaluators into five categories ofpopulation including product designer (including product modeling designer, the principleand structure design engineer), manufacturing, sales, use groups and the executivesdepartments. According to the different product awareness angles, focus and professionalbackgrounds of each type of people, this paper formulated corresponding evaluation indexsystem, so that each group can make the accurate (or more accurate) evaluation for productdesign schemes within their cognitive scope. Second, this paper applied all kind of people’sevaluation information and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the weight ofeach evaluation index, applied the information entropy approach and the commonevaluation and assessment information of five kinds of people to determine the weightbetween five types of people. The product design evaluation index is fuzzy, so we used thetriangular fuzzy numbers to measure the evaluators’ evaluate information on productdesign solutions based on evaluation index, discussed the construct methods of productdesign schemes’ fuzzy evaluation model. As well as this paper achieved decision-makingmethods and steps of multi-index evaluation information gathering within groups andbetween groups by calculating the average similarity of evaluator groups and theevaluators comprehensive important degree coefficient, etc. Finally, this paper developedproduct design comprehensive evaluation information survey system and product designevaluation information management system to achieve effective product evaluationinformation collection and management using digital technology such as Dreamweaver,ASP, Visual C++,ADO, etc. Furthermore, existing five kinds of cars was taken for example to make comparision between the system evaluation results and five car models rankingorder so as to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the development of the productdesign evaluation system.
