When the scale of economic construction is expanding continuously and the pace ofsocial information is accelerating, Intelligent Building has made considerable development inChina. But there is a problem in Chinese construction of the Intelligent Building. We take thenumber of intelligent subsystems as the evaluation criteria of the intellectual level. Theconcept of building intelligent environment is the organic combination of the buildingintelligent systems and the built environment. It proposes that the goal of creating andevaluating the building intelligent systems is effectively improving the built environment.This paper proposes the intelligent control requirements of the various environmentalelements by studying the main factors of the physical environment in buildings. It studies thecontrol methods of the environmental elements using the intelligent control theory. And it putsforward the specific control methods of the intelligent thermal and humid environment, lightenvironment, air environment and the intelligent acoustic environment.Firstly, this paper analyzes the controllability of environmental factors one by one afterstudying the factors and evaluation indexes of the building physical environment, includingthermal and humid environment, light environment, air environment and acousticenvironment. It proposes control requirements for building facilities.Secondly, it makes the intelligent control theory as the theoretical foundation of thebuilding intelligent environment in this paper. It follows the basic principle of priority inusing the natural resources and develops the intelligent control strategies for the control needsof different environmental elements. It makes the specific control methods of the intelligentthermal and humid environment, light environment, air environment and the acousticenvironment.Finally, this paper designs the environmental information collecting and pre-processingmodule and the air-conditioned fuzzy control module. The modules can complete the smartjudgments of the intelligent thermal and humid environment and achieve the linkage controlof the air-conditioning system. It verifies the reliability of each module and the effectivenessof the control system by simulation. In this paper, it makes clear that the fundamental goal of the building intelligent systemsis to create the intelligent environment. It first proposes the intelligent control methods of thethermal and humid environment, the light environment, the air environment and the acousticenvironment using the intelligent control theory. These control methods follow the principleof fully utilizing natural resources. The methods lay the foundation of the building intelligentsystems construction and the theoretical study about Intelligent Building.
