In recent years, with the rapid development of long-span suspension bridge inChina is more and more attention in engineering field and the favor. The suspensionbridge consists of main the cable, the tower, the stiffening girder and the slingstructural composition, the main structure is in tension and the material utilizationefficiency is high. The main cable material used high strength steel wire, comparedwith other materials can be more economical and reasonable suitable for large spanbridge construction. Usually considered the characteristics of long-span suspensionbridges’ high flexible, the alignment is susceptible to the construction conditions, thetemporary facilities and the influence of environment temperature so the key ofsuspension bridge construction control is that accurate calculation of main cable shapewhich is the main reason in recent years and the hot issue on the construction controlof suspension bridge.This article analysis the characteristics of main cable and stress which relies onthe calculating the Yichang Miaozui river suspension bridge in the background,Onthe main load-bearing structure of main cable must be calculated accurately inconstruction process. Focus on the use of sub-catenary method to calculate the838meters single-span suspension bridge that is the steel-concrete composite beamwhich Include the unstressed length of the main cable, back-stay, buckle cableandsuspender.Calculating the bridge structure reasonable alignment which used thatgetting the key parameters of construction of the structure on unloaded cable shape,the elevation of the middle span and the pre-bias of cable saddle. In addition,Calculation and analysis the some problems on the main cable construction control oflong-span suspension bridge are studied which are carried out by using BNLASsoftware. For large-span suspension bridge cable on the construction monitoringwhich several problems were studied and analyzed, Emphatically analyzed thecontent of the main effects of different temperatures that control parameters about thecable construction, erection cable strand control and other aspects. To investigate the problems that encountered in the process of strand erection that is analysis andjudgment. the control results of main cable erection.Based on the theory of practical and calculation, and put some suggestions oflong span suspension bridge on construction control. Studied at different temperaturesaffect erecting of Wire Strand main cable saddle deviation and discusses the Problemsand Countermeasures in strand encountered in the process erection, erection andcontrol of the main cable to predict the outcome of the analysis. These conclusions arein order for the type of bridge design and construction and provided the practicalreference, while providing the effective basis for the monitoring of long-spansuspension bridge in the construction process.
