Reinforced concrete frame structure is an important component of existingbuildings in China. In recent years the world’s earthquakes occur frequently and theframe structure seismic damage is particularly prominent in the destruction of severalearthquakes. As a center of power transmission of reinforced concrete frame structure,beam-column joints play an important role in connecting beams, columns,coordinating structural member deformation, ensuring the integrity. In seismicdamage forms, the node destruction is an important factor leading to structurecollapse, so the frame structure system seismic research based on the node isparticularly important. Existing reinforced concrete frame structures of inadequateseismic performance abound in our country, so the research of this paper can not onlyprovide the basis for the research of structure seismic theory, but also effectivelyguide the existing frame structures of inadequate seismic to reinforce and repair,possessing the important social and economic significance.Enhancing the seismic mitigation capacity of building structures is the mostfundamental measure of reducing earthquake damage loss, thus structure seismicdesign and analysis method have become one of the main topics of current concern. Inorder to constantly improve the seismic building theory and related specifications,domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of experimental studies, earthquakedamage analysis. The seismic theory and analysis method of reinforced concreteframe structure have made great progress, but it still need engineers to continuouslyexplore and research to reduce or even avoid personnel casualties in disasters.The paper in accordance with specification comparison of each period andseismic damage case of different periods, quantitatively concludes inherent designflaws of reinforced concrete frame structure of each period in domestic, and establishthree representative reinforced concrete structure framework models in differentperiods. SAP2000Pushover analysis method respectively analyze and compare thebase shear-vertex displacement, performance points, floor displacement, interlayer displacement, story drift, plastic hinge location and state in the three existingstructures. Using the latest structural model: version10frame structure as basis forcomparison, quantitatively obtain the deficiencies of the other two frame structures inabove seismic performance evaluation, provide the basis for future engineeringapplications.
