In recent years, Because of the shortage of terrestrial resources and the sea of resourceshave been gradually developed, USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) has got worldwideattention and development. Small waterplane area hull ship is a new member of the USVfamily, which methods are mostly still traditional vehicle type design method in aspect ofvehicle type design. The design finished through repeated selection, calculation, derivationand modification. It will not only increase the workload of the designer, but also makes thedesign cycle lengthened, and designers also cannot make generally the best ship. Accordingto the principles of ship design, it is based on small waterplane area hull ship, by increasingthe hydrofoil, which preliminary constitutes a ship type of USV——the hydrofoil smallwaterplane area of hull ship. The author discussed the function of USV, who take use ofmulti-objective optimization designing optimized of the hydrofoil small waterplane area ofhull ship.First, according to the characteristics of the hydrofoil small waterplane area of hull ship,their choice of design variables, and built the comprehensive optimization constraints. Whenthe navigation performance of rapidly and maneuverability (rotary and linear stability) areconsidered, the paper established performance comprehensive optimization mathematicalmodel of the hydrofoil small waterplane area of hull ship.Secondly, conducting genetic algorithm, complex method, chaos algorithm andhierarchy parallel thought to construct a new optimization method that combined all of them.The optimization procedure is written by using VC++. Finally, the Parallel and hierarchicalGenetic Complex Algorithm is chose as the final optimization algorithm in this paper. Aftera large number optimization calculations, and achieved the best comprehensive performanceof ship parameters. But also, the author discussed the influence of different index weightsand different objective functions of the optimization results.Finally, according to the parent ship reconstruction method, the paper makes use of theresults of the optimization designing underwater part of the molded line. And the paper alsoanalysis stability of the hydrofoil small waterplane area of hull ship, which focuses on thelongitudinal stability of the ship. By calculation, the author concluded the longitudinalstability of being satisfy the requirements of the ship.In conclusion, The paper consider the navigation performance of the hydrofoil small waterplane area of hull ship. Through the analysis of rapidity and maneuverability, theauthor determines the design variables, constraint condition and mathematical model. Then,the paper makes a lot of calculations, and the results were analyzed corresponding. Thecalculations show that the method is highly efficient and reliability, and make a preliminaryanalysis of longitudinal stability. The above works can provide a basic platform for USVpreliminary design.
