With the development of science and technology, modern military equipmenthas put forward higher requirement on real-time and data traffic. Launch vehiclecontrol system is used to control the rocket in flight, during which the rocket will besubjected to all kinds of disturb from internal and external and requires a great dealof information exchange among the units in the system. While traditional bustransmission technology unable to meet the demand, optical fibre channel busprovides unification of networking and I/O channel data communication,inexpensive implementation, convenient low-level control, high transfer rate, stronganti-interference capacity services. This paper take a type of launch vehicle’sdistribute control system as background, design and implement an optic fibre busswitching system based on FC-AE-1553protocol.At first, in the fibre channel protocol OSI five layer framework, focusing onthe component of FC-2layer and analyzing users’ demand, the overall designscheme of FC-AE-1553protocol switching system based on FC-2layer is given.The exchange system is divided into three levels, N port, level-one switch andlevel-two switch. Based on FPGA as optical fibre receive and dispatch hardwareplatform, operating protocol and data package in DSP to achieve two levelsswitching.Secondly, both the login frame and data frame structure and receive-dispatchprocedures involved in switching system are designed. According to FC-AE-1553protocol to design the specific format and fill in the content of login frame and dataframe. A exchange process is divided into four steps: link initialization, switchstructure registration, N port registration, data exchange and each step is designedin detail.Thirdly, based on an exchange process design to implement level-oneswitching system and extend it into level-two switching system. Finish the codingwork of both level-one and level-two switching system. According to the specificformat and content of frames and the receive and dispatch mechanism, takingconsideration of three kinds of login situation and three kinds of data dispatchsituation, corresponding algorithm is given respectively.At last, According to users’ demand and experimental condition, write the testprogram and apply on both the level-one switching system and the whole switchingsystem. Test result shows that the design can achieve N port login, switch fabriclogin, routing table establish, data exchange on both two level switching system.During the whole testing process, the switching system can achieve high speed data exchange while leakage frame and frame transmitted repeatedly doesn’t occurred.The overall design can meet the need of the project.
