Airborne Long-wave infrared line scanner (IRLS) is the detection equipmenton the unmanned aerial vehicle, it is one of the most effective way to access a widerange of ground thermal images. With the advantages of high image resolution、wider range of observation、all-weather working, IRLS has important significanceon the military and economy. This thesis designs overall scheme of IRLS on theaerial vehicle, at the same time, research deeply key technique of optical design ofthe scanner. The specific tasks are:First of all, according to the working principle of IRLS and the desiredperformance of the whole system, the composition scheme is determined, mainlyincluding: the selection of imaging spectrum, the selection and analysis of thedetector, the determination of scanning system, the determination of opticalsystem parameters and scanning parameters, the estimation of NETD.Secondly, according to the optical system parameters, the optical system’soverall structure is determined. Combining the CODEV software, each subsystemis optimized. On the premise of guaranting the imaging quality of each subsystem, the whole system is stitched and optimizated. The designed optical system issimple, and is easy to adjust. Finally, the key technical problems of optical design is analyzed, mainlyincluding the anthermalized design of optical system、 the analysis andoptimization of cold reflection、the error analysis of K mirror despun mechanism. The designed optical system has certain practical value.
