Inertial confinement fusion (ICF) is now considered as a most likely way toachieve controlled fusion energy, is one of the ways to solve the energy problemin the future, is now a popular topic in scientific research all over the world.Target and laser alignment is one of many core technologies in ICF. For now,achieve high-precision alignment with Non-contact measuring method usinghigh-precision photoelectric device has become a trend. Studying cryo-targetalignment abroad began from many years ago and has achieved a lot whiledomestic research has just begun.This article mainly talks about solutions to limited space, low efficiency ofalignment of multi-laser and high-precision, limitation of temperature fieldraised by cryo-target.1、As cryo-target has strict requirements for temperature field of targetalignment system, we redesigned the system. We optimize the structure withfinite element method and obtain better technology parameters to improvestability. Design a new kind of light source with fiber and diffusing plate to solvedisadvantages of LED like large volume, low luminous efficiency and highcalorific value.2、To increase efficiency of target and laser alignment, we establish afast-guide system based on high-speed camera. In this article, we talk aboutstructure and working progress of the system, and we talk about structure ofsoftware which is suited.3、To solve the problem that different types of target must have differentpositioning methods, we put forward a positioning method based on3D model ofthe target, which is suitable for different types of target. This positioning methodcan generate database and fix the position of the target on line, as long as3Dmodel is delivered, without off-line calibration.4、We analyze the precision of laser and target alignment by chasing thesource of error. After error compensation and error synthesis, we find outprecision of the new-designed alignment system is8.38μm.
