As the transmission mechanism transfers electrical energy into the linearmotion directly, the linear permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSLM) candirectly drive the load without intermediate transmission link from rotary motion tolinear motion, with the high speed and high precision. The PMSLM is becomingthe main functional unit of High-grade CNC machine tool, and has widelyapplication prospect in the high precision CNC system, lithographic machine, ICcore making etc.. The accuracy of inductance parameter of the PMSLM has veryimportant influence on the calculation precision of motor characteristics andperformance, the accuracy of mathematical model of motion and the controlperformance of motion control system, which is the key to study the performanceand drive controller design of PMSLM. In order to solve the defects of traditionaltest method of inductance testing, the paper studies the testing method forinductance parameters of PMSLM.Firstly, the thesis puts forward a kind of high-precision testing methods forinductance parameter of PMSLM and analyzes the new method in theory. It bringsforward the testing schemes of inductance for different winding connection of themotor. To obtain the inductance of simulation for the test result reference,theinductance of the prototype is simulated by finite element simulation.Secondly, the paper designs an inductance testing system structure, and selectsthe equipments and devices for experiment. It designs the software and hardwarecircuit including signal sampling circuit and control circuit for the automatictesting systemFurthermore, the paper measures the inductance parameters of the prototypewith the new testing method, and compares with the finite element. The paperanalyzes the system error for the new testing method and the testing system, andputs forward the methods to reduce the testing error.Finally, the paper compares the inductance from the new testing method, theDC decay testing method and the simulation of finite element, surveys theinductance parameters of the prototype with the DC decay testing method,illustrates the superiority of the new inductance testing method by experiment.
