Owing to the shortage of fossil energy, the urgent task is to enhance the utilization rate ofwind energy, improve the ecological environment and realize the sustainable utilization. Windenergy attracts most countries’ attention as the most ideal and promising clean energy, andenhancing the utilization rate of wind energy on ship is inevitable.To enhance the utilization rate of wind energy and enlarge the speed range of wind powergeneration system, introduce a kind of wind-drive device with a constricted tube. From theperspective of wind speed, analyze the relation between the Mach number and the diameter. Basedon the continuity equation and Bernoulli equation, considering the influence of crevices on theconstricted tube, modify the continuity equation to describe dynamic characteristics of wind speedwithin the device. Numerical simulation and experiment results express that the movable devicecan reduce wind velocity fluctuations, improve the wind energy density and expand the range ofwind power generation system.Based on blade coordinate system and foline coordinate system, carry on a vectordecomposition of wind velocity and obtain the change rules of every velocity component.Analyze the influence of the Wind-drive Device on axial velocity and set up the model of windspeed to research the aerodynamic performance of wind-drive in negative wind direction.Numerical calculation shows that the movable device can make the wind speed at the location ofwind turbine change smoothly and reduce wind velocity fluctuations in the wind-drive device.According to the classical momentum-blade theory, research the influence of crosswind onaerodynamic performance of wind turbine in wind-drive device. Analyze the aerodynamic modelin positive wind direction and in negative wind direction, research the difference of the formulas intwo cases, and get the impact of the crosswind on wind turbine blades. Calculation results expressthat axial thrusts possess periodic local impact on the middle section of wind turbine.Based on the above theoretical research, carry on the pneumatic experiment and output powerexperiment and results verify that the correctness of wind speed model, also illustrate the excellentperformance of movable wind-drive device.
