Solid-liquid two-phase flow centrifugal pump have a wide range of applications in the agriculture, metallurgy, chemical, mining, coal, light industry and food industry. With rapid development of transportation technology of solid materials and hydraulic in the near future, the solid phase concentration range is more and more widely, distance of transport is more and more long, which makes more high demand for pump hydraulic performance of two-phase flow and anti-wear performance come: Therefore researching on centrifugal pump with internal flow field and containing solid particles of the medium is very practical and theoretical significance. Many scholars engaged in the solid phase concentration on centrifugal pump performance using three-dimensional turbulence numerical simulation. Another scholar to use the method of theoretical analysis and experimental research centrifugal pump internal solid-liquid two-phase flow, which reveals the changes in the characteristics and laws of the internal characteristics of two-phase flow centrifugal pump. Existing research to explore the internal flow mechanism of the two-phase flow centrifugal pump with practical guidance. Due to the complexity of the law of solid-liquid two-phase flow, and the limit of experimental conditions and costs of a variety of factors, centrifugal pump limited experimental data, by means of computational fluid dynamics software with a short cycle, low cost. This paper using fluent software and multiple reference frame the methods (MRF), selection of the two-phase turbulent calculation of non-steady-state mixture model to analysis of the different solid volume concentration, short blade bias and shunt short blade impeller distribution of particle concentration, speed, and pressure parameters, through virtual simulation to obtain the variation of the internal flow field in centrifugal pumps, design and operational analysis to provide a reference for the hydraulic transport of solid particles of different concentrations of centrifugal pump theory. The main contents include:numerical simulation of centrifugal pumps and internal flow field development in the world; Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics infrastructure; Centrifugal pump internal flow field theories and theorems; centrifugal pump internal flow field numerical simulation;Final conclusions and Prospects.
