Centrifugal pump is a kind of very practical general machinery that suitablefor conveying liquid mixture. It widely used in mining, metallurgy, coal, electricpower, light industry, petrochemical and other industrial and port river dredgingindustry. The black blade of the Centrifugal pump can balance the axial force andenhance the seal effect as a simple structure on the impeller of the Centrifugalpump. Nowadays, the research of the black blade at the home and abroad is only inthe initial stage of exploration. This paper aims to provide certain theory referencedata on the research of black blade of Centrifugal pump.In this paper, the entity model of pump is created and meshed; Three blackbade form as forward-curved, backward-curved and main tide and eight numbersfrom three to ten of black blade in Centrifugal pump has been simulated in thispaper by using FLUENT software.By the CFD numerical simulation, analyzed the influence to the distribution ofpressure field and the velocity field under different kinds and numbers of blackblade in impeller and volute of pump; Also, analyzed the influence of black bladeto the pump efficiency, the black blade seal and the contribution in balancing axialforce of black blade. Concluded different kinds and numbers of black blade inCentrifugal pump to pump’ efficiency, centrifugal seal impact and the ability inbalancing axial force.It can offer some reference information to the improvement ofslurry pump’ nature and optimum design.
