The personnel density, light density and fresh air volume of people have specialrequirements in the modern market, which makes the energy consumption of centralair-conditioning system increased. However, in the modern mall the large space designmethod is adopted and just because of this method the temperature field and velocity fieldbecome more complicated.In this paper,it is researched on the energy-saving of theportman space type air-conditioning system in the market mainly from two aspects aboutthe whole air-conditioning and thermal environment indoor.First of all, the configuration scheme of air conditioning system was determinedbased on the actual operation situation. Secondly, the influencing factors of mallair-conditioning loads are indagated and analysed, through which the air-conditioningloads calculation formulas are corrected. Then the air-conditioning loads are calculatedwith the harmonic method and the dynamic change rule of the air conditioning loads isobtained; At last, the distribution of business hours in the mall is simulated based on thedynamic change law of air conditioning loads and the method of "Average time" was putforward to complete the optimization about the capacity and configuration of chiller.Comparing with original design data of this project, the design in this article can reduce40%of the air-conditioning loads and decrease5000kW of chiller installed capacity.The characteristics of the portman space mall buildings are analyzed in thspaper.Then air supply system surrounding portman space was collocated based on theconcept of "stratified air conditioning".The mathematical and physical model of "Portmanspace" is built based on actual size of mall. The FLUENT, one kind of CFD software, isused to numerical simulation disquisition on the model under five kinds of operationconditions in summer and the temperature field and velocity field nephogram are gained.The conclusions can be getted through comparison: the optimization scheme which issuggested in this paper is that the air outlet and smoke hanging wall are collocateduniformly surrounding portman space. The scheme can effectively block heat exchangebetween part cold air of air conditioning and interior space and make the temperature fieldand velocity field of human activity area relatively stable in the range of human body feelcomfortable.The research results have been applied to a local shopping mall, and after operating awhole summer, it showed that the optimization design can meet the needs of mall requirements and achieve a good energy-saving effect.
