With the development of China's reform and opening up, we welcome in the unprecedented opportunities, but also a big problem of energy shortage. In recent years, with increasing of public buildings, mall buildings and office building are the most common ones, the mall building energy consumption accounts for 30% of total energy consumption of public buildings. Air conditioning system is the most important part of building, with its energy consumption accounting for about 60% of the total energy consumption, reducing the energy consumption of air conditioning system is an effective way to reduce the total energy consumption of buildings. This paper choose a large mall building in guangdong area as research object, through research, analysis of energy consumption simulation and comfort, this paper discusses the approach to energy saving of operation in mall building.First of all, in this paper, 20 mall buildings has been carried on the reseach of energy consumption in guangdong area, at the same time, we found some bad phenomena exist in the process of market operation, including: a majority of malls have installed lots of unnecessary lighting effects for creating some kind of atmosphere; Part of doors were keeping in open state in mall buildings, leading to leakage of the cold air; During the day of good visibility,we could take advantage of natural lighting as light source instead of artificial lighting system, however, the malls failed yet. Through the analysis of reseach data, we have drawed the following conclusions: the maximum of energy consumption in malls occurs in 7~9 months, the minimum appear in 1~2 months; At the same time, energy consumption of unit building area in different malls also have a big difference, the max difference reaches up to 41.3kW·h/m~2; Average annual energy consumption of unit building area is 273.82 kW·h/m~2.Secondly, we choose a typical mall in guangzhou as research object, through the anlysis of traffic statistics data, the conclusion shows that: Traffic change regularity over time showsas the three peak distribution, rather than the typical bimodal distribution in 1980 s, mainly because malls usually stay open up to 22:00 or later, people's nightlife becomes more active in recent years; On weekdays, the peak of personnel density is 0.118p/m~2, average personnel density is 0.060p/m~2,while, the peak of personnel density reach up to 0.183p/m~2 on weekend, average personnel density is 0.092p/m~2. Generally, these practical values are lower than design personnel density values. At last, through the energy consumption simulation of the mall, and the comparison of simulation and actual energy consumption, ensuring the accuracy of the model with FEMP standard. Through the energy consumption simulation with different personnel densities, showing the effect on building energy consumption. Using three schemes with different supply air temperatures and air velocities to make a analysis of the thermal comfort, determining the supply air temperature for 20?, air velocity for 0.2m/s which suit for mall HVAC system; This paper also come up with the full fresh air operation in transition season and winter, by calculating enthalpy difference between indoor air and outdoor air of the typical meteorological year in Guangzhou to determine the ideal time of this system running is from October 19 to April 17 in the second year, then make a simulation of energy consumption on this operation method to obtain theory efficiency of total energy saving.
