The Research On Landscape Character Of Jingdezhen As The City With A Histotic Culture Including Specific Function

Historical city, as the traditional cultural carrier, the historical building、city pattern、local language and local folk customs of these historical cities represent the cultural background of the cities in each period. These cities record the evolution of urban development trajectory. Since1982, it has announced a total of123state-level historical city by State Council. However, with the rapid development of China’s economy and property market, it’s a hot topic how to correctly handle the relationship between protection and development of the historical city. Currently, most research are focused on the same province, west or small and medium about the historical city, but it is still a blank stage for the same type historical city research. The city with a historic culture including specific function,as the special city of historical city, most cultural and historical remains in the city are not typical as the other historical city. So it is always ignored by the builders, causing the serious damage to the historic urban landscape. Jingdezhen, as a representative of the city with a historic culture including specific function, it has certain typicality. This paper carries out research on Jingdezhen as the city with a historic culture including specific function. It not only has guiding significance in historical cities research, but also can expand the research area of historical cities.In this thesis, the landscape character of the city with a historic culture including specific function as a start point, it explorer the cause、development、landscape composition and landscape character assessment of Jingdezhen the city with a historic culture including specific function through literature review、induction and summarization、field surveys、public engagement method, the strategies were given up. Based on the above, the application research was promoted to evaluate the landscape character-the feature planning of city landscape in Jingdezhen. The results are as follows:(1) By investigation of the famous cities with a historic culture and landscape specification and combination the researches from home and abroad, the research about same category has not been accomplished and fails to form a serious of system. In order to accomplish this system, this thesis-focusing on the cities with a historic culture that has special character-presents a research about the cities with a historic culture including special function, which may mark a time epoch.(2) The origination and category of the famous cities with a historic culture including special function could be refined from literature researches, and development and structure of those cities could be analyzed on the basis of specific categories. From that, summarization about landscape specification and character reflects out-of-focus reasons. All of mentioned researches provide restructuring of those cities including special functions with theoretical foundations and theories of landscape characters that has an essential role in construction project of those cities.(3) From the angle of landscape characters, Jingdezhen-applying to the profile that are famous cities with a historic culture including special functions-was chosen as a subject to be summarized the origination and development from the literature researches of this city and to be analyzed the landscape structures by fieldwork and paperwork, which offer theoretical foundation of landscape characters.(4) Analysis of evaluation system of landscape characters was utilized in the evaluation of landscape characters in Jingdezhen. Combining paperwork, fieldwork and public participation selection, Jingdezhen was divided into landscape-character territories from city-rate to town-rate, choosing from that, evaluations was based on the foundation of the typical that associates function with culture. The conclusion of evaluation could be the important practical foundation for the further research on the promotion of landscape character and structure of feature in Jingdezhen city.(5) From the above analysis of landscape characters in Jingdezhen, the conclusion shows the main problems existing in the town. The strategies were promoted to perfect the city construction from the city generation. At the same time, the strategies were promoted to perfect the divided landscape such as nature, culture and artificial landscape.(6) From the theoretical and experiential research on Jingdezhen, based on the landscape character assessment, the frame of view project in Jingdezhen was established macroscopically, moderately, and microcosmically, and these three levels irrespectively perceive its own suggestions and guideline for landscape project.From the research conclusion above, it is systematical and traceable to find factors of formation, development process and ingredients of material and culture. The thesis analyzed and investigated the model, Jingdezhen, of cities with a historic culture including special functions, from the research, the balance between the protection and development could be found, it can offer persuasive basis for the further research on the strategies to promote the landscape character and the frame of view project in the city. The research showed certain reference to other cities that share the same features.
