Research On Landscape Design Of The City Walls In The Conservation Of Historic Cultural Cities

Since the middle of last century, the world began to increasingly focus on the protection and utilization of historical and cultural construction.Thus,China has formed the protection system of Famous Historical and Cultural city. And as an important part of historic buildings, the city walls are also the important objects of the protection. With the continuous development of the city, the city walls,as the city’s historical pattern, began to face the continued challenges of urban expansion since the reform and opening up of our country.And historical and cultural cities have also been under the dual pressures of historical heritage protection and urban development. About how to deal with the protection and utilization of the city walls, researchers used to study the protection of the city walls and preservation of historic features from the perspective of urban planning and architecture.But the landscape design in the conservation of historical and cultural city walls has been less mentioned.For the above, this paper selected some important ancient cities of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces,which have the preservation of important historical monuments as cases.And the walls were contrastive analyzed in terms of landscape features, spatial structure,elements constitute and other sides. Combined with the theory of landscape ecology, a set of sustainable design principles and methods was investigated and generalized. In addition, through in-depth understanding of the landscape resources of the city walls of Shouxian County City, the author used the landscape design methods of the city walls into the case of Shouxian County City in order to provide some reference in exploring the landscape design of the city walls of Shouxian County City and the protection of historical and cultural city...
