| In recent years, automobile industry in our country developed rapidly, the carownership is also rising.Safety of automobile is becoming more and more considered,so the proportion of the vehicle safety in the whole design process is becoming moreand more high. According to the impact barrier, velocity and position, automobilecrash can be divided into a variety of forms,each collision form of thecrashworthiness design is focused on one part,but influenced mutually.Finally thosecrashworthiness design should be unified to improve the vehicle comprehensivecrashworthiness, to protect the inner passenger fully.In the paper, three collision forms, that is the passenger car rear-endedcommercial vehicle, frontal high-speed and low-speed crash of passenger car areresearched, optimized and designed. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the collision characteristics of passenger car smalloverlap rear-ended commercial vehicle, based on the topology optimization, a newtype of RUG(rear underride guards) of commercial vehicle is formed.The new RUGhas good crashworthiness,it could absorb more collision energy, at the same time ofblocking effect and considering to the requirement of three kinds of overlap collisionforms to RUG fully. Finally, the new RUG improve the collision compatibility of thetwo cars crash,and protect the passenger fully.(2) Combining the characteristics of high-speed crashworthiness and low-speedcrashworthiness and considering the lightweight design of automobile, a newmultiobjective optimization design method of vehicle crashworthiness is builded up.The main purpose of the design in frontal high-speed crashworthiness is to ensure thesafety of occupants and minimize the passengers body damage. Meanwhile, in thefrontal low-speed crashworthiness design, that requests to reduce automotive collisiondamage and possess good economic performance in the collision damage repair. Thismethod takes the key parts as design carrier, use surrogated model and geneticalgorithm to optimize calculation.At the same time of safeguarding the high-speedcrashworthiness, it improves the vehicle economy of collision damage repairing inlow-speed collision significantly. Finally the method is applied to a vehicle crashworthiness design. |
