Model test is an ancient method to study the response of structure under the effect of different load, and to find the regularity of structure displacement, internal forces and cracks. With the wide application of computer technology in various disciplines, many complex computing problem is resolved, but for some more complex structure and the processing of boundary conditions, only through digital calculation to solve the actual problem is very difficult. Model test methods still play an important role in structure engineering theory innovation and the technical development. Model test as a necessary supplement, it can verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the design calculation method, and can intuitively show the stress of complex details. Especially to the problem of research has failed to establish an ideal mathematical model, model test is an integral part of research techniques.Traditional model experiment, general consideration is given priority to geometric similarity, but to control the geometric similarity ratio of model and prototype is an difficult and key point, and the size effect will influence the test results of geometric similarity model, especially for dynamic model test. Using different geometric similarity ratio, the test data obtained inversion to the prototype usually vary widely. In laboratory conditions, full scale model test for every test is impossible. On the basis of the theoretical derivation, the author puts forward a method:the model dynamic test method based on stiffness similarity, about similarity relations between the model and the prototype in incomplete strictly similar conditions. Through the drawing release model test and contrast analysis the test data of three models and numerical simulation software, this method is examined, the feasibility, validity and rationality theoretical values coincide well with the test values, similar deviation within5%. By comparison with the test data of rigid foundation and flexible foundation, doing a brief analysis of the model of soil and structure dynamic interaction, to provide some reference for dynamic test based on stiffness similarity and the soil-structure dynamic interaction test.
