| It is a key problem for the safety of engineering objects to design cone base local compression creactly.Base Code’s calculated methd is same as concrete structure design code.Study on the local compression of cone base has not been reported.There are some differences in different base design software commonly used in the calculation of local compression.To investigate the suitable calculate method of cone base local compression, this paper took the original experimental data of domestic and foreign scholars as the basic to determine the reasonable parameters of numerical simulation and calculated248conical base model under local pressure to analyze the failure mechanism of local compression of cone base.In addition, the expression of slope and local compression coefficient was first proposed and the affects on the local compression coefficient of several factors were analyzed. Some suggestions on the local compression design of cone base were put forward too. The conclusion can be used in practice.The main works are as follows:(1) Taken the Jeal Vana Baba and Yanfang Xiao’s local pressure speciments data as basis,120models were simulated to determine a most suitable carack transfer coefficience which could used in numerical simulation of concrete local compression.To a certain extend, the validity of the other parameters were verified also.(2) Calibration method was used to investigate the change of local compression enhanced coefficient when the surface was inclined.Taken the maxmimum stress when the surface was flat as basis,6groups of a total of12modles were calculated.By comparing the stress of2modles of each group to derive the change of local compression enhanced coefficient.(3) Taken the slope as the main line,10groups of a total206modles were calculated and the calculated results were analyzed to derive resonalble expression of slope and local compression enhanced coefficient.(4) Influences of bases’absolute size, thickness, eccentricity, concrete strength,column’s stirrup ratio and concrete strength on local compression enhanced coefficient were investigated systemically.(5) Combined matlab’s results with engineering practice, the range of local compression enhanced coefficient was given.(6) The computational rationality of two base design software used commonly was analyzed. Based on the numerical simulation results, a method of calculating local compression bearing-capacity which guaranteed a certain safety coefficient was derived. In addition the highest concrete strength level on the base and column was investigated too.(7) According to the results of numerical simulation,the reduce factor of design value calculation formula of cone base under different ratio was discussed in order to ensure a certain degree of safety factor.(8) Combining the numerical simulation results and theoretical derivation,the limit value of concrete between pillar and foundation was analyzed.
