The Bronze Culture Theme Hotel Public Art And Design Research

CHINESE’s ware culture has a history of about1600years。The bronze wares are widely distributed in China; and they have been excavated from many places, from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Liaoning Province in the north to Guangdong Province and Guangxi Province in the south, from Shandong Province in the east to Qinghai Province and Gansu Province in the wes。China’s bronze ware culture contains rich content。Bronze casting has a long history and the techniques used in casting bronze wares are exquisite and skilled; they are the essence of the world culture. Therefore, it’s worth studying and exploring how to apply the bronze ware culture to modern design。Materials useful for our design were found from those bronze wares by analyzing and classifying the shapes of bronze wares and the decorations, patterns and inscriptions on it, and by extracting elements with modern design methods on the basis of learning from the findings of the research made by others on bronze wares。With the help of modern design methods, the elements of bronze ware culture were used in the design of modern theme hotels in the way of imitation, deconstruction, recombination and abstract expressions on the basis of inheriting traditional bronze ware culture。The purpose of the paper is to combine traditional culture and modern design。...
