Large concrete sluice can do both power generation from preserving the water and flood discharge. It is usually comprised by the large concrete structure located at bedrock and the highly-stood sluice gate which can be controlled open or close. The whole distribution is very complex. Under strong earthquake, there is a sophisticated responding mechanism. The upper truss system has an evident amplification effect for the vibration. So simply put, the sluice system is rich in extremely complex dynamic behaviors.Having assembling and summarizing the previous researches, using large commercial finite element software ANSYS, there are three aspects of work carried out below:(1)The static stress analysis of the large concrete sluice is done. Linear analysis give stress results in both theoretic state and real engineering.(2) Earthquake wave data is processed by FFT analysis, using Matlab and SeismoSignal, so that the suitable one can be chosen for this engineering.(3) The anti-seismic characteristics are analyzed by both modal decomposition response spectrum method and time-history dynamic method.80%of water resources are in the west of China, where its geological condition is very complicated. As the rapid development of the hydraulic engineering in western China, more and more higher dams with large reservoirs came into being. So the relative research of sluice in this dissertation is of practical importance.
