To solve the problems during the preparation of the compositematerial of high decomposition temperature of the blowing agent AC andpoor compatibility issues between wood meal and matrix material, in thispaper, we conduct a comprehensive analysis and research, the resultsshowed that ZnO can activate AC blowing agent, and the ratio of1:1caneffectively reduce the foaming temperature. By using the2parts KH550silane coupling agent modified wood flour can improve the interfacecompatibility of the base material and the wood meal. Finally,cross-linked molding foam process for preparing a low density, highmagnification cell EVA/wood flour composite foam material.Besides, we examine and research the apparent density, cellmorphology, water absorbency, static compression performance and otherperformance of foam materials by universal testing machine and scanningelectron microscope (SEM) and other modern characterization methodsand some homemade equipment. the results showed that:1) With the increase of wood flour content, the density of foammaterial first decreased and then increased, rebound resilience firstincreased and then decreased, reaching maximum when the content ofwood flour is20parts; and the compression deformation first decreasedand then increased. Meanwhile, the tensile strength with increasing woodflour content has been reduced, but the rate of elongation at break firstincreased and then decreased, reaching maximum when the content ofwood flour is20parts. Cell morphology analysis show that the cellappears coalescence and collapse when flour containing more than30parts.2) When the content of AC blowing agent is11parts, the content ofcross-linking agent DCP is1part, the content of nucleating agent of nanocalcium carbonate is2parts, the overall performance of composite foammaterial is best.3) After adding wood flour, Young’s modulus, yield strength andenergy absorption of foam composite materials presents the change ruleof first increased and then decreased, and reaching maximum when the amount of wood flour is20parts. Furthermore, with the increasing ofcompression ratio, the Young’s modulus and yield strength of the materialdecreased and the densification starting strain increased.4) With the increase of the number of cyclic compression,circulation wastage and hysteresis percentage of all materials drops, inaddition, with the increase of the amount of wood flour, the circulationwastage decreased first and then increased, it reaches maximum whenaddition amount is20parts.5) With the increase of the amount of wood flour, the relaxation rateof materials decreased at first and increased later, it reaches minimum inthe content of20parts.
