The holographic digital watermark and multimedia authentication inthe field of digital anti-counterfeiting technology were introduced into thefield of packaging and print, and combining with the actual needs ofprinting and packaging anti-counterfeiting, the problem of holographicwatermarking algorithm, image geometric distortion correction and imageauthentication recognition problem were studied in this paper.The holographic watermarking algorithm that suitable for colorprinting image is the basis and prerequisite for the realization ofholographic watermark anti-counterfeiting certification for print andpackages. In this paper, we introduced the error diffusion halftoning,Fourier hologram and discrete Haar wavelet transform into the digitalwatermark anti-counterfeiting system and designed the holographichalftone watermarking algorithm for color print according to thecharacteristics of the printing process. Through print/print-scanningexperiment, using NC, PSNR and prints color difference to evaluateimage quality, we draw a conclusion: for color printing image (CMYKcolor mode), embedded the Fourier hologram halftone watermarking inthe more color component channels and the watermark strength is withinthe range of1-1.5, it can obtain the holographic watermarkanti-counterfeiting printing images of reliable quality.Anti-counterfeiting printing image geometric distortion correction isnecessary means to obtain good watermark image. In this paper, it hasobtained the very good correction effect by using the methods of Houghtransform, tilt angle calculation, perspective transformation formula andusing the mathematical morphology method to modify the correctedimages. This means ensures that the smooth extraction of the watermarkand good watermark image quality.Holographic watermark image verification is the core of informationsecurity authentication. In this paper, the holographic watermarkanti-counterfeiting image authentication method was studied. Afternecessary preprocessing, the watermark images were classified andstudied respectively. Correlation coefficient and the properties of image region were used respectively to realize the recognition of alphanumericwatermarks and geometric figure watermarks. Experiments results showthat this method can realize holographic halftone watermarkinganti-counterfeiting authentication for printing images, also verify thewatermark anti-counterfeiting schemes which be designed in this papercan satisfy the needs of security certification.Finally, the holographic halftone watermarking algorithm was takento design a anti-counterfeiting packaging box and then do lithographicprint experiment, and took the geometric correction and imagerecognition method proposed in this paper to get authentication of trueand false of the anti-counterfeiting packaging box. The results furtherverify the feasibility and reliability of the method described in this articlefor anti-counterfeiting printing and packaging products and laid a goodfoundation for the establishment of holographic watermarkanti-counterfeiting certification platform.
