Because wind energy has the advantages of renewable and clean, it has become the most promising new energy. In Heilongjiang Province, due to the abundant wind resources, it is suitable to develop wind power. But a lot of wind farm integration with power system will be a huge impact on the Heilongjiang power grid. Wind power not only changes the power flow, but also affects the voltage level of the grid and reduces the margin of safety and stability of the grid. In order to ensure reliable operation of the grid,2012Heilongjiang power grid data is used to analyze technical issues of farms and their interaction with the grid being evaluated.Heilongjiang grid conditions and capacity of wind farms and other basic data are explained in this paper. On this basis, the paper analyzes the power flow of Xinglong and Xinghai farms into power system before and after, reactive power and voltage. In a given integration with power system solution, the impact is provided with wind farms on power transmission lines and bus voltage levels. The paper analyzes the impact of wind farms on the system voltage regulation and reactive power configuration mode.In addition, the paper uses dynamic simulation tool to analyze the interaction of the system and wind farms under various disturbance; also analyzes the transient stability of the wind farm integration with power system and power quality problems caused by the wind farm research and’harmonic impact on the local power grid. It is worth explaining that the paper presents some governance programs for the excessive harmonic.
